On Time, In Budget, Knowledgeable Staff
Landmark has been contracted to conduct asbestos project monitoring and asbestos inspections in a high rise Manhattan buildings in multiple locations. Landmark practices the highest standards of work ethic and professionalism enabling us to handle these types of projects without issue. This standard of conduct and professionalism provides that critical degree of separation between Landmark and our competition.
Landmark was responsible for asbestos material survey, professional engineering and design services, project monitoring, abatement oversight and overall project management for the rebuilding and replacement of the ACM fireproofing and drop ceiling. The project was to be executed around a functioning kitchen/workplace environment. Landmarks design engineers meticulously crafted a project plan that would enable the client to continue to operate during this large- scale abatement project.

Landmark provided soil and bedrock excavation, transportation and disposal of hazardous material services at upper Manhattan locations. Landmark excavated over 2,900 tons of soil and 400 tons of bedrock. Landmark coordinated with New York City Dept. of Environmental Conservation (NYCDEC) from inception to completion of this project to ensure proper execution of the tasks involved. After completion of the project a final report was submitted to the NYCDEC for approval.
Landmark was contracted to act as the environmental consultant. Landmark conducted a phase II investigation and Phase III remediation. In addition to the clean up Landmark provided ACC with a full building survey for Lead Based Paint, Asbestos, Mercury, PCB's and Indoor Air Quality. Landmark's methodology and remediation limited all exposure to hazardous materials by construction workers or building occupants.
Landmark provided asbestos project monitoring services and project management for asbestos abatement in various dorm buildings under two (2) contracts with SUNY - The College at Old Westbury. This project had to be conducted while all students were on winter break. This required that our staff be present and working through the Christmas and New Year holidays. In doing this we fulfilled the clients requirement in getting over 36,000 Sq. Ft of VAT abated and replaced within three (3) weeks while coming in under the proposed budget.

Landmark has been awarded five (5) lead Survey and Clearance dust wipe sampling contracts by NYCHA in the past six months. The lead inspections include full surveys of multi dwelling apartment complexes in the five boroughs of New York City. Landmark is responsible for testing all interior and exterior spaces and compiling a full report based on those inspections.
Landmark was contracted to investigate an oil leak at the base of an elevator shaft. Landmark conducted a phase II site investigation, the type of oil was determined, however the underground storage tanks in the immediate geography had complete structural integrity. Landmark proposed a Phase III Excavation to dig deep below the surface, create an underpinning, remediation eight (8) feet of soil, build a watertight sub-basement, and lay a slab of concrete over the reedited soil. This methodology seals any potential leakage and prevents any exposure to hazardous materials by construction workers or building occupants.
